Well done to our team riders Max and Charlie who competed I the world 24hr last weekend. Charlie won her class and added a 2nd world title to her name and Max finished in 10th. A few words from Max below.

"Last Saturday I competed in my first World class Mountainbike race. It was in Rotorua and it was Brutal! If there is one way to make sure you dont want to ride a track for a while race a 24HR race on it. All complaints aside it was a great race, the first four hours I held on to 2nd place in SS, then by the 24th hour my lack of K's in my legs and knowledge of 24hr racing put me into 10th place. So 10th in Single Speed out of 23 riders, would have been second in 23 - 29 Age Cateogry which is what I would be in if I had gears, and 55th overall out of 140. So a massive thank you to Charlie for dragging me around for loads of laps, Erina Bikeworx for the new grips (god sent and savior) and making my bike run sweet, HDX MIX Australia & Nz for keeping me hydrated for 24hrs, Wildside Hybrid Conditioning for the training and mental preperation to get me through the challenge, I Am Riot for sweet gear when im cruising round, Jason for being the most organised person ever in the history of ever!, Luke for pitting for me. And everyone for a dope experience in NZ Charlie, Blake, Luke, Jason, Dan, Jamie, Gilbert, Peter, Jordan, Ed, Sam, David and everyone.!!
